Figma to WordPress Conversion for Janathakshan GTE Ltd

Project Description

Janathakshan GTE Ltd, a dedicated non-profit organisation, sought to enhance their goals and objectives through a dynamic online platform. The objective was to design a website that not only communicated daily updates and publications but also showcased their projects to potential investors in a visually appealing way.

Step 1: Requirement Gathering

I began by conducting a thorough requirement gathering phase with Janathakshan GTE Ltd to understand their core objectives and needs. This was a critical step to ensure the project scope was aligned with their organisational goals.

Step 2: Designing the Figma Layout

Drawing on the client’s brand identity and elements from their previous website, I designed a Figma layout that highlights their brand colours and ensures easy readability. This stage involved:

  • Choosing a colour palette that reflects the brand’s identity.
  • Creating a layout that enhances the user experience while maintaining an appealing aesthetic.

Step 3: Website Development

Once the design was finalised and feedback from UI/UX discussions was incorporated, I developed the website using WordPress and Elementor. Customisations were made to ensure the design matched the specifications outlined in the Figma files.

Step 4: Website Optimisation

To guarantee the website’s optimal performance, I focused on:

  • Improving loading speed.
  • Enhancing the website’s GTmetrix performance metrics to ensure efficient operation across all devices.

Step 5: On-Page SEO Implementation

After development, I implemented on-page SEO strategies to boost user engagement. This included optimising content, meta tags, and accessibility features to improve the site’s visibility and interaction rates.
